Missouri Highlands Health Care is seeking a CNM/FNP to join our team!

The CNM/FNP will improve access to risk-appropriate care in the area, serving as a maternal health provider via telehealth connection with MHHC primary care clinics to provide increased access to obstetric specialty care in the region. GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

A Pediatrician, or Children’s Doctor, is responsible for the medical care of babies and children typically up to the age of 21, and can include physical and psychological disorders and diseases, delivers ambulatory care services and inpatient services, if applicable. Participates in quality improvement activities. Assumes responsibility for delivery of services consistent with community standards. Missouri Highlands is looking to hire an Ultrasound Technician for our very busy Women’s clinic located in Poplar Bluff, MO.
 
Competency and efficiency in operating various ultrasound machines and probes to achieve high quality images for detailed fetal anatomic surveys, transvaginal ultrasounds, biophysical profiles, specialized Doppler studies, gynecological exams, knowledge of 3D and other procedures as needed. NT Certification preferred.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Must have reasonable knowledge in various fetal conditions and anomalies as well as an understanding of gynecological assessments.
  • This position requires the ability to evaluate a situation and determine the best method of achieving optimal ultrasound images is essential.
  • Reviews patient’s electronic medical records to obtain and record identifying information required for the knowledge of what is needed for the physician to make an accurate diagnosis.
  • Instructs patient in preparing for examination and explains procedures to be performed.
  • Operates, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains ultrasound equipment.
  • Performs calculations and measurements to appropriately focus the exam and obtain the data needed.
  • May perform other duties within the department as requested.

A scribe’s core responsibility is to capture accurate and detailed documentation (handwritten, electronic, or otherwise) of the encounter in a timely manner. Scribes are not permitted to make independent decisions or translations while capturing or entering information into the health record or EHR beyond what is directed by the provider. Scribes are responsible for capturing medical information at the point of care which allows the provider to focus on bedside manner and provide hands-on, attentive, face-to-face care that increases both patient and provider satisfaction. The general duties of a scribe may vary and can include:

  • The Medical Scribe will assist the provider in navigating the EHR.

The Risk Assistant reports to the Risk Manager. The Risk Assistant is responsible for leading patient safety/clinical risk management initiatives impacting clinical and operational processes throughout MHHC. JOB OBJECTIVES:

Purpose: Outreach and Enrollment Coordinator assists consumers with enrollment and navigation of health plans, develop relationships with health plan service providers, manage monthly reporting and facilitate health care and social service resources to support the health and well being of the organizations clients and potential clients, and educate and network with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Duties:

DUTIES:

· Monitor purchase orders for the organization to ensure compliance to internal purchasing polices. Ensure proper approvals are in place and captured. Track flow of purchase order to packing slips to facilitate three-way match.

· Must have solid knowledge of Accounts Payable process. Will be responsible for confirming three-way match of purchase orders to packing slips to invoice prior to Vendor payment.

· Will initiate and manage Vendor payment process for the organization.

The Patient Outreach Coordinator will conduct outreach calls to patients of the Missouri Managed Care Plans. Duties will consist of checking if person is a MHHC patient, if they have had an annual wellness check-up or need help with scheduling an appointment. Additionally, calls will be placed to MHHC Urgent Care patients who are not established with the Company to assist with establishing PCP care within the Organization.

The Patient Outreach Coordinator serves a key role in helping to eliminate the deferment of preventive and/or routine care. This position works with our provider clients to optimize patient engagement. This position is responsible for conducting outreach (telephonic, text and email) to schedule and confirm appointments. Working in close collaboration with other internal teams, the Patient Outreach Coordinator supports provider practices by reconciling rosters, performing patient outreach and other administrative tasks to ensure both telehealth and in-office appointments are kept; thereby ensuring the closure of gaps in care.
