As a registered dietitian, she provides nutrition education at all of the Missouri Highlands clinics on a bi-weekly to monthly basis. Robin is a graduate of the University of Missouri (Mizzou). She received a master of science in gerontology from Kansas State (K-State) in May 2011. She is a certified diabetes educator with over 20 years of experience teaching diabetes management skills.

Join Heidi Allen, LCSW as she shares with you tips on sleep hygiene.

Heidi Allen, LCSW

Heidi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with an office located in beautiful rural Missouri in Pilot Knob. She works with children, young adults, individuals and families using an eclectic approach tailored to the unique needs of each new client. Heidi has over 8 years of experience in a variety of settings and with diverse clients, including both long-term and brief interventions. Areas of expertise include: Children and adolescents with behavioral and sexual issues; Children and adults with anxiety and depression; Relationship challenges: couples and families; Life stresses and next steps; and working with sexual and criminal offenders. Heidi graduated from the University of Missouri, St. Louis with her Master’s Degree in Social Work. Heidi is continuously seeking to enhance her skills and broaden her education. For instance, Heidi has engaged in advanced training in DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). Heidi has provided services for individuals and groups both inpatient and outpatient, as well as done crisis intervention and long-term therapy with in a maximum-security facility. Heidi believes change happens when people are given the guidance they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential to live fulfilling, happy lives. Heidi provides an environment of compassion and support to help individuals and families overcome obstacles to move forward and thrive.
