Missouri Highlands Health Care seeks a unique individual to join our team to help improve the quality of life for people suffering from opioid, alcohol, and other addictions. You will be working with an experienced team that includes an RN and Physician.
This opportunity is Monday – Friday, no weekends or evenings. 8 Paid Holidays and a generous PTO package. You may also qualify for the benefit of loan repayment for qualified individuals through the National Health Service Corp.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
By utilizing a team-based model, the Provider provides comprehensive and ongoing high-quality, evidence-based treatment for individuals diagnosed with Substance Use Disorder (SUD).
- Understanding of Substance Use Disorder Treatment.
- Provide initial evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing support for individuals with complex addiction and substance-related health conditions.
- Educating and Counseling patients regarding medication compliance
- Collaborates with other members of the care team, including behavioral health providers to provide high-quality SUD care and primary care to MHHC patients.
- Provides consultation, education, and clinical guidance to the care team on the unique needs and considerations of SUD patient populations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active and unrestricted medical license as an APRN
- Experience providing addiction medicine services for both medically and socially complex populations; Experience managing complex substance use disorders
- Effective time management and communication skills
- Computer literate and experienced with Electronic Medical Records
- Degree from an accredited nursing school and successfully written the RN licensure exam. Two (2) years experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of a certified State or Nationally approved Nurse Practitioner program, preferably certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
