April is Alcohol Awareness Month.

Try to be alcohol free for the month of April to help you see the positive benefits it has on your health.


  • Sleeping Improves- drinking before bed might help you fall asleep faster, but causes problems in your sleep cycle. You are more likely to wake up in the middle of the night causing less REM sleep. This will result in grogginess in the morning.
  • Appearance Improves- alcohol causes dehydration which results in eyes and skin to look dull. There is also a possibility of weight gain due to the amount of sugar in the drinks.
  • Lower Health Risks- you can lower your risk of having a stroke, liver disease, heart disease and more.
