An Urgent Care is not emergency care. Urgent Care centers are same-day clinics who handle non-life-threating situations for when you can’t wait for an appointment with your doctor.
Urgent Care can treat you for symptoms such as:
- Minor cuts that may require stitches
- Sprains & Burns
- Fever & Flu Symptoms
- Earaches & Infections
- Cough, Cold & Sore Throat
- Animal Bites
- Mild Asthma & Wheezing
- Rashes / Poison Ivy Shots
- Urinary Tract Infections
- Back & Join Pain
- Vomiting or Persistant Diarrhea
- Broken Bones (wrist, hand. ankle, foot)
If you have symptoms such as; chest pain, seizure, disorientation, overdose, uncontrolled bleeding or other life-threatening situations you will need to call 911 or go to the nearest ER.
If you need medication refills, routine care and/or routine chronic care, you need to make an appointment with your primary healthcare provider.
