New for August 26th: This session of our breastfeeding class will be a special, small-group experience created just for postpartum moms and their babies. Unlike our regular classes, this one is designed to be more personal, quiet, and nurturing, offering space for deeper connection and support.
To preserve the intimate environment, attendance will be limited to moms and infants only, therefore, no men or older children will be permitted at this session.
Participants do not need to be Missouri Highlands Health Care patients to register — all are welcome.
Topics Covered Will Include:
Benefits of breastfeeding
How to establish a milk supply
Infant hunger and satiety cues
Latch on and positioning techniques
Assessing for adequate milk transfer
Handling common breastfeeding problems
Maternity care practices that impact breastfeeding
Pumping while separated from the infant
Nothing is required to bring, however, you are more than welcome to bring a pen and notebook to take notes.
