Improving Maternal Health in Southeast Missouri

At RMOMS, we are proud to be a part of the Southeast Missouri Partnership Network, dedicated to creating a seamless and sustainable network of maternal and obstetric care for rural communities. Our program focuses on enhancing access to high-quality prenatal and obstetric services, ensuring the health and well-being of mothers and babies across the region.

Our mission is centered around five key goals:

Goal 1:

Rural Regional Approaches to Risk Appropriate Care

We strive to improve access to risk-appropriate maternal and obstetric care in rural Southeast Missouri. Through our collaboration with network partners, we are committed to ensuring that every pregnant woman receives the personalized care she deserves.

Goal 2:

Network Approach to Coordinating a Continuum of Care

At RMOMS, we believe in the power of continuity of care. From preconception to postpartum, our dedicated team of specialists and healthcare professionals is here to support mothers and their babies throughout their entire journey.

Goal 3:

Leveraging Telehealth and Specialty Care

One of our unique offerings is our in-house Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, providing expert care via telehealth. Through telemedicine, we expand access to general obstetricians and level 4 perinatal specialists, bridging the gap between rural communities and specialized healthcare services.

Financial Sustainability

RMOMS is committed to developing a diversified model of sustainability. By carefully managing resources and investing in innovative approaches, we aim to ensure the long-term success of our program, benefiting generations to come.
