Amanda has been a Certified Nurse Midwife for 4 years. She has worked with women and children’s services for nearly 20 years. Amanda is looking forward to working at Missouri Highlands Health Care and providing midwifery care to the families in our community.
Dr. Amber Richardson, PhD is a clinical psychologist working in the Poplar Bluff office. Dr. Richardson possesses a PhD in clinical psychology in addition to a Masters degree in Counseling and Personnel Services. She has been working in private practice and rural health for several years and is joining Missouri Highland’s as part of the organization’s growing behavioral health program. Dr. Richardson has worked in several clinical settings including inpatient mental health, partial hospitalization programs, natural outpatient settings, and outpatient clinics. As a native Poplar Bluffian, Dr. Richardson is excited continue providing services to rural populations in Missouri Highland’s uniquely integrated medical setting.
Dr. Richardson is devoted to providing quality, evidence based care to individuals with a variety of needs, including psychotherapy, counseling, and psychological assessment. Dr. Richardson is currently accepting patients of all ages Monday through Thursday in the Poplar Bluff clinic.
Dr. Bastaninejad is a board certified pediatrician who has worked in the rural health clinics and as a pediatric hospitalist at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center since 2010. He will be joining our pediatric team as a pediatrician in the office Poplar Bluff Medical Office and will continue to see patients at PBRMC as a pediatric hospitalist.
Dr. Bastaninejad received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from University of California, Irvine. He obtained his medical degree from St. George’s University before completing his pediatric residency at Winthrop University Hospital in New York where he also served as chief resident.
Carl Harbison Jr. is an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), at Missouri Highlands Health Care. Carl received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Central Methodist University in 2013 and Master of Science in Clinical Counseling in 2016. Carl has performed roles as a Crisis Counselor, Mental Health and Substance Use Therapist, and Suicide Prevention and Firearm Safety Specialist. Carl is certified in EMDR therapy and is an instructor in ASIST, Const. Working Minds, QPR, and CSSH. Carl is a Retired veteran of the U.S. Army (active duty, 90’-95’) and Missouri Army National Guard (2011 – 2024). Carl has deployed to Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Syria in 2017-2018.
Chasidy earned her BSN degree from Arkansas State University in 2015. In 2020 she Earned her MSN-FNP degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She worked for five years as an RN in pediatrics/medical surgical prior to earning her degree as Family Nurse Practitioner. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. As a Nurse Practitioner she has experience as a wound care specialist, family practice provider, and women’s health provider. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Dr. Pinderski is a Board Certified Emergency Physician. He attended medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit and completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis in 1993. After completing his residency, he practiced emergency medicine in Indianapolis from 1993 to 1996 then was an emergency physician in Poplar Bluff at both Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center and Black River Medical Center. He was involved in motorsports medicine where served as a physician on the CART Safety Team, he was Medical Director for the Champ Car World Series and the International Motor Sports Association, and served as an on track physician for the first three Formula 1 races in Austin Texas. He has three children and currently resides in Poplar Bluff.
Introducing Dr. Christine Vogel, MD, Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, to Missouri Highlands Health Care – Doniphan North location. Specializing in Family Medicine and certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Vogel brings a wealth of expertise to her practice. With a focus on holistic wellness and a patient-centered approach, she goes beyond traditional medicine to address the root causes of illness. Dr. Vogel’s additional training in Functional Medicine underscores her commitment to personalized care and chronic disease management. Her passion for the health of the whole person shines through in her dedication to each patient’s well-being. Welcome Dr. Christine Vogel to the Missouri Highlands Health Care team!
Corinne Durner has called southeast Missouri home since 2012. She received her bachelor’s in nursing from Liberty University in Virginia. As a nurse, she spent 12 years working in adult medical and trauma critical care as well as neonatal critical care. She received her master’s in nursing from Clarkson College in Nebraska and now enjoys serving in primary care and addiction medicine at MHHC Clinic. Corinne loves Jesus Christ and loves people. She believes health is best accomplished in relationship with others. Outside of the clinic, she is grateful to enjoy life with her husband and three boys and often goes hiking, hunting, and bike riding with friends and family.
Ian Pelletier D.O., an Internal Medicine Physician is joining Missouri Highlands Health Care’s Ellington and Pilot Knob locations. Dr. Pelletier was born and raised in rural costal Maine where he was active in sports, chess and Boy Scouts achieving Eagle Scout status. He graduated from the University of New England, Summa Cum Lauda, with degrees in Medical Biology and Biochemistry then furthered his education with the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program. While in medical school, his future wife, Jessica Pelletier D.O., sat down next to him on the first day. Dr. Pelletier completed his residency at Virginia Tech Carilion in Roanoke, Virginia. He loves the outdoors including hiking, caving and rock climbing. He looks forward to practicing at Missouri Highlands Health Care with a focus on taking care of the adult patient population.
Jaime Hampton is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Mental Health Specialist. Jaime received her Master’s of Science in Nursing in Pediatric Primary Care in 2016 from the University of South Alabama. Additionally, in 2018, she completed specialized training in the assessment and treatment of pediatric behavioral health conditions from Duke University. In 2020, Jaime went on to complete her Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Maryville University. Most recently, in 2023, she completed her Master’s in Business Administration – Healthcare Administration from Western Governor’s University. Jaime believes lifelong learning is essential for providing the very best care to her patients.
Jennetta Stearns is a Family Nurse Practitioner with Missouri Highlands Healthcare. Jennetta began her career in healthcare in 2009 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. In 2009 she continued her education in the healthcare field to become a Registered Nurse. Jennetta has over 10 years experience in nursing including clinical nursing, IV infusion therapy with focus on chemotherapy and IVIG, beside nursing, and Hospice nursing. In 2022, Jennetta graduated from Walden University with a Master’s degree in Nursing which marked the beginning of her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Jennetta married her high school sweetheart in 1999 and the two have 2 children, Caleb and Kasyn. Her family also includes two teacup yorkies, Max and Koko, who keep the family on their toes. Some of Jennetta’s favorite hobbies include spending time with her husband and children, reading, and cooking.
Dr. Gast has been practicing medicine since 2014 and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Gast is now accepting patients over the age of 18 at our medical clinic in Poplar Bluff.
Lori Baker-Montgomery has been employed with Missouri Highlands Health Care since 2019. She has served as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering mental health therapy and behavioral health consulting at the Shannon County Family Clinic and Ellington Family Clinic. Lori is now serving in the additional role of Behavioral Health Director. She continues to provide in-person and telehealth clinical services for clients two days per week.
Lori has over 22 years of experience working in a variety of settings; including community mental health, schools and hospice. She specializes in treating children and adults with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and behavior issues. She provides a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic experience for clients to process current and past life stressors and learn to manage difficult emotions.
Lori is certified in the evidenced-based trauma treatment of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and trained in numerous other treatment types including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Ego State Therapy, Play Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person Centered Therapy. She works with her clients in achieving their goals in order to improve their mental health, physical health, overall well being and happiness. Lori earned her Masters of Social Work with a Family Health Concentration from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO in 2000. She is originally from Summersville and currently resides in Eminence. Lori’s interests include spending time with her family, reading, traveling and exploring the Ozarks. She feels fortunate to be able to return to her native area and contribute to the mental health of others.
Michelle Health, FNP has been a Registered Nurse since 2005. She has worked critical care and outpatient oncology. She has been ANCC certified Family Nurse Practitioner since February of 2017. Michelle is relocating from the Poplar Bluff area to be closer to family in St. Francis County, where she grew up. Michelle enjoys spending time with family, gardening and reading.
Randi Stechschulte is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and graduate of Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Originally from a small town in southeastern Ohio, she and her family feel right at home in southeast Missouri. Before starting work as a Nurse Practitioner, Randi spent a decade in the ministry field working with college students, local communities, churches, and international partners. She has a passion for learning and helping others; and desires for you and your family to feel empowered and taken care of when it comes to your health. Outside of work, Randi enjoys spending time with her family, being active (hiking, playing sports, kayaking), reading, drinking coffee with friends, meeting new people, and playing with her dog and two cats. Randi loves caring for people of all ages and will be accepting patients at the clinic in Piedmont soon. She is excited to meet you and come alongside you in your health journey!
Richard Hester, MD is a graduate of Ross University in the Caribbean and completed his residency in Lincoln, Nebraska. Dr. Hester has been practicing family medicine for 6 years. While he enjoys treating patients of all ages, Dr. Hester especially enjoys working with children. Dr. Hester relocated from the Kansas City area and his family will soon follow. Dr. Hester’s passion for serving those in rural communities fits well with Missouri Highlands’ vision and mission.

Shantel is board certified through AANP and specializes in Family Practice. She’s also a certified Pediatric Nurse and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. With a background as a Pediatric Nurse and RN instructor, Shantel will be seeing patients from our School Based Health Clinics. Learn more about our SBHC.
Stacy Fiske is excited to be part of the Missouri Highlands team. She obtained her Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. Prior to earning her MSN degree, she worked as a registered nurse with over a decade of experience in a variety of healthcare settings and served as the Director of Nursing in a geriatric care and rehabilitation facility for many years. She resides in Summersville, MO with her husband, Tommy, and their two boys, Easton and Dakota. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping adventures, going to the river, traveling, and boating on the lake. She is looking forward to providing care to the Eminence community.
Dr. Bradley Daniel is a native of Arizona. He is a graduate of A.T. Still University – Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Dr. Daniel schedules patients Monday – Friday at the Iron County Dental Clinic located in Pilot Knob, MO.
Chelsea graduated dental hygiene school at Missouri College in 2014. She enjoys getting to know her patients, discussing goals, and treatment options to work towards a healthier smile. Chelsea lives on a farm with her husband and daughter. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and kayaking with friends.
