An Urgent Care is not emergency care. Urgent Care centers are same-day clinics who handle non-life-threating situations for when you can’t wait for an appointment with your doctor.
Urgent Care can treat you for symptoms such as:
If you have symptoms such as; chest pain, seizure, disorientation, overdose, uncontrolled bleeding or other life-threatening situations you will need to call 911 or go to the nearest ER.
If you need medication refills, routine care and/or routine chronic care, you need to make an appointment with your primary healthcare provider.
Missouri Highlands Health Care is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n). An FTCA deemed facility.
This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals
