December 18, 2025 – Missouri Highlands Health Care has acquired the Saint Francis Poplar Bluff Campus (Coppertop). Services will transition over time as required approvals are completed.

The operational transition is anticipated to continue through January 30. During this time, some Saint Francis providers and specialists will continue seeing patients on the Poplar Bluff campus. Missouri Highlands Health Care (MHHC) will begin operations on the campus following completion of the transition. As MHHC completes required state and regulatory approvals, not all services will be immediately available on site, including laboratory and imaging services. Availability will vary as services transition.
