The FDA has issued a recall for a number of store brand artificial tears including CVS, Equate. Up&Up and Rite Aid. At this time there is no recall on brand name drops such as Refresh, Optase and Systane. Please visit https://www.fda.gov/drugs/drug-safety-and-availability/fda-warns-consumers-not-purchase-or-use-certain-eye-drops-several-major-brands-due-risk-eye to see a comprehensive list of recalled eye drops. Please discontinue using the drops immediately if they are included in the list.
