Coming Soon….

Missouri Highlands has taken a significant step to enhance healthcare accessibility in rural communities, including Butler, Iron, Carter, Wayne, Ripley, Shannon, and Reynolds counties. The organization has proudly sponsored downtown decorations and the Christmas tree lighting, setting the stage for an upcoming milestone.

In the Spring of  2024, the region will welcome a groundbreaking initiative – the Medication Assisted Mobile Unit (MAT). This innovative mobile medical unit is poised to revolutionize healthcare delivery, offering a ray of hope to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Sponsored by Missouri Highlands Healthcare, the MAT Mobile Unit is not just a healthcare provider; it symbolizes a commitment to addressing a crucial need in the community.

Beyond its primary role in healthcare, the MAT Mobile Unit will function as a community hub for education. It will actively raise awareness about medication-assisted treatment options and strive to cultivate a comprehensive understanding of substance use disorders. By directly delivering essential resources and support to the heart of these communities, the mobile unit aims to bridge healthcare access gaps, contributing significantly to the well-being of residents in these seven rural counties. Be part of this transformative initiative as Missouri Highlands Healthcare leads the way towards a healthier and more informed community.
